Seed Library

"The Seed Library" graphic with flowers, herbs, tomatoes; text: borrow seeds, plant, save, return.

Our Free Seed Lending Library is open to the public at both of our locations April-November.

How it works:

Step 1: Borrow! Choose what you’d like to grow and take what you need (1 of each packet per month) Fill out the membership form each time you borrow a packet.

Step 2: Grow! Plant and grow your seeds! To help get started, check out our gardening books and resources.

Step 3: Return! Harvest seeds from your healthiest and tastiest plants. Use the packets provided on the table to bring back extra seeds.

Fill out the membership form each time you return a packet.

If you have questions or need more information about growing your seeds, please contact Naturalists Mike Crews by text at 812-686-3718 or Bob Zimmerman at 812-393-9545.
